HanzP napisał(a):FIRST OF ALL - can anybody translate my post into Polish, as I can read, speak but not write....
MarCo napisał(a):I decided to start new thread, just to keep "1:72 news thread" clear. Unfortunately picures need some comments and this post become a slightly lenghtly.
This post is informative only, I am trying to show only significant details in easy way and allow everybody to form their own opinions on the subject.
Please note this post is neutral - after all I consider AZ as a nice set.
It has advantages and defects as well. Advatages include good crossections of the fuselage behind the cockpit and richness of the optional parts, while FM model is not so ideal in this area.
Both kits does have correct wing - AZ is an copy of FM wing. AZ does have problems with shape and dimensions of the engine fuselage part, exactly as their G6/14 kit - and here I am focussing on this problem.
AZ is also much better available and price affordable.
However, to build the collection of Messerschmitts (I meant - in the different versions), that will not be looking like different planes, we should keep only to one producer - I choose Fine Molds, but I know some who build their collection on basis on AZ kits only - and until you put them up next to a model from another manufacturer, they (AZ) looks extremely well.
I know also people who improve AZ dimensions and this is also possible.
Below I omit parts from G6 kit which is simply included in the box together with G10 fuselage.

Test fit on the extra thin glue. Of course you can fit them together by slight pressure, but my intention is to show how they went from the form.

Here is comparision between AZ and FM fuselage noses. Please note FM show main batch from Regensburg, while AZ comes from WNF and aerodynamic firing behind engine firewall (curved sheet under the cockpit) had different line like in the Regensburg batch. So, here and on the next pictures please don't worry about differencies of those lines.

Below comparision on the scale plan. It comes from Eagle Editions publishing. And yes, I checked they are correct is shape and fit perfectly on the factory plan. It is nothing strange since they traced them on the factory plan basis.

On a side note it should be mentioned that croseections of the AZ nose are incorrect, together with front plate - just behind the spinner. In the original it was perfect circle while AZ has it as polygon with rounded corners.

HanzP napisał(a):At the moment we decided to make this kit, we were looking for accurate plans. From many sides we got the warning not to repeat the mistake of FM and base the kit on Eagle plans, which are not correct in the nose section. There is problematic lenght issue, about 0,6mm. And this is what FM kit lacks in the overall lenght. Easy - FM is too short, AZ is correct.
HanzP napisał(a):But you based your comparison on one plan only. Bad way. How many plans you have compareed in between?
HanzP napisał(a):Can you ask Deutsches Technik Museum for a copy of factory plans, pay for it and make your comparison again? AZ paid for it. AZ kit is based on copy of original blueprints.
HanzP napisał(a):And your comparison is based on what? SOME PLANS......
HanzP napisał(a):Can you post here what was overall lenght of 109G series? And compare with your sketch?
HanzP napisał(a):And - you wrote that the wings are copy of FM in our kit.[...] On what fact is your sentence based? Feeling? There is no part of the kit by AZ as a copy of FM. Wings especially were 3D modelled. Have you seen that we took FM parts to our kit? NO.
HanzP napisał(a):We expect your explanation and apologise....

Naganne.
