Owszem zwróciłem na to uwagę. Choć mimo wszystko upieram się, że taki był fotel od początku, ale każdy ma swoją wersję interpretacji. Ty zrobiłeś pełny fotel, ale nie wiem z czego był on wg. ciebie wykonany? Zarówno sklejka jak i metal byłyby za ciężkie do tego szybowca. Bardziej podobała mi się wersja pleciona z wikliny i jeśli już to taki mógłby być pierwotnie fotle a potem wymieniony na ten ażurek.
Natomiast dałem fotkę bo zostałem wywołany do tablicy odnośnie tego co uważam za ażurowy fotel.

Patrząc na zdjęcia pierwszej wersji Bydgoszczanki, chyba masz jednak rację co do pełnego fotela. Być może potem postanowiono go odchudzić. Sorry za zamieszanie.

Moment, panowie...

Żeby tylko te napisy nie zaczęły żyć własnym życiem, jako prawda.
Fota ze sterem to fota mojego modelu. Ale napisy to czysta fantazja. Wiem tyle, że było tam siedem linijek tekstu. Początkowo myślałem, ze to zapisy czasów kolejnych lotów, ale przez cały czas trwania Konkursu Szybowcowego w Gdyni na sterze jest siedem linijek. Nic nie przybywa.
Więc założyłem, że to nazwiska "załogi". Ale czy to prawda - nie wiem. Pytałem, szukałem - żadnych rezultatów. Może teraz ktoś dokopie się, co tam było napisane?

Hi everybody

Some news about the Bydgoszczanka, she flew! but ................ crash
First aerotowing, takeoff, flight and nice landing
Second aerotowing, takeoff, flew few minutes and the glider started a spin, 3 rounds until the ground, impossible to control it, I don't understand why, RC problem or aerodynamic problem...

I have finished to repair the wings, ailerons, elevator and rudder and now I rebuild a new fuselage.

I did not see this craft before, however the fist thing I noticed were the ailerons. This design will have (may have) undesirable effect with larger ages of attack. "Regular" ailerons will work quite normal due to the flow at the trailing edge of the wind (airfoil). The ailerons used here may generate some nice moment, however soon with a bit higher angle of attack, may create a stall of the wing tip. At this moment the lost of the rolling moment and the lift will take effect.
Just a theory I implemented while looking at this design.
A careful and small deflections of ailerons may work just fine.

Another issue is the rudder; it is pretty small and may be "shaded" during the spin. At this moment it may be very difficult to take it our of the spin.

I watched the video from the crash. It looks to me the stall (and spin entry) occured during the turn. It may indicate it was the problem with ailerons what initiated the stall and the spin. Than not enough rudder ended up in the crash.
Sorry - I hope you rebuild this beautiful model and fly again.
